DECOR SERMON (INDIVIDUAL WORKS)

Décor Sermon exhibited at Cairns Regional Gallery (Cairns Art Gallery) in 2005. 

It was a continuous artwork stretching the full expanse of the Loft Gallery wall.  

There was no clearly defined notion of the beginning or end.

Décor Sermon is a playful reinvention of the puffed-up notion of the perfect décor, acknowledging there is no right way, that there is significant meaning in the individual decisions people make. 

A tongue in cheek approach is used to revise and alter the trends formulated for photographic magazine spectacle.
